Bob Vernon is a retired police officer who served for 37 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. He rose through the ranks from rookie street cop to second in command of the LAPD, one of the world’s most respected police departments. Following retirement, Vernon founded the Pointman Leadership Institute, an organization that provides ethics and leadership training. He earned an MBA from Pepperdine University and has authored one book, L.A. Justice: Lessons from the Firestorm.
