Kay Coles James is the president and founder of The Gloucester Institute, a leadership training center for young African-Americans. She currently serves on the board of trustees for the Heritage Foundation and is a former board member for Focus on the Family, as well as the former Associate Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. Kay and her husband of over thirty years, Charles, have three grown children.
